Fruits for the Week

Header Last edition English

When the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to Allah in the following words:Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa sha’bana waballighna Ramadhana.” ( O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us and let us reach the month of Ramadhan).

The third century of the Hijra was the most fruitful period for the collection and development of hadiths of the Prophet (saw). During this period as many as six famous collections of hadiths popularly known as Sahih were written. There were Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sahih Tirmidhi, Sahih Abu Dawud, Sahih Nasa’i, and Sahih Ibn Majah.

The Prophet (saw) said: “The most virtuous of virtues is to connect and have good relations with those who cut you off, to give to those who deny you, and to overlook and pardon those who revile you.” (Ahmad)
