Allah (swt) said: “Thinking well of people is part of worshipping properly.” (Abu Daud)

All human beings have been created with a natural inclination to do good, even though there is some inclination to do evil due to the whispers of Satan. Allah (swt) said: “(Adhere to) the fitrah of Allah with which He has created all people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah.” (Ar-Rum: 30)

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “One day, I was behind the Prophet (s.a.w.), who said: ‘O boy, I shall teach you some words. Preserve Allah and Allah will preserve you. Preserve Allah and you will find Him with you. If you ask, ask Allah. If you seek help, seek the help of Allah…” (At-Timidhi)

The above hadith tells us that one should preserve his covenant with Allah and pay attention to His rights, commands and prohibitions. One should adhere to the commands of Allah, avoid prohibited acts and never transgress the duties ordained by Him, or perform a deed which He prohibited. Whoever follows this is among those who preserve their covenant with Allah.

Allah (s.w.t.) said: “We have indeed revealed this (message) in the Night of Power. And what will explain to you what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the angles and the spirit by God’s permission, on every errand: Peace! This until the rise of Morn.” (Al-Qadr:1-5)
