Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:” Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: Where are the two who loved one another for my sake? Today I shade them with My shade, on a day when there will no shade but My shade.” (Muslim)

When the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to Allah in the following words:” Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa sha’bana waballighna Ramadhana.” (O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us and let us reach the month of Ramadhan).

The name of Jesus (may God’s peace be upon him) occurs in the sacred texts of both Islam and Christianity. However, its significance is radically different in the two religions. Muslims consider Jesus to be one of the Prophets of Almighty God and revere him as much as other Prophets of God, such as Abraham, Moses, or Muhammad (God’s peace be on them). The Christian Churches, on the other hand, regard Jesus as the ‘Son of God ' and worship him as such. This was not the practice of the earliest Christians. They believe that God is One and that Jesus was but a servant and apostle of God.
