As in previous years the Islamic Union of Hong Kong hosted an Iftar dinner reception for leaders in different sectors of the community.
The Annual Iftar Dinner was organized in Masjid Ammar and O.R. Sadick Islamic Centre on 16th June. The idea is to let the community that we live-in to know more about Islam and what does Ramadan mean to Muslims not only in Hong Kong but all over the world.
The reception was attended by over 100 guests from different sections of the community including Hong Kong Police Force, Correctional Services Department, Coordination Department of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative, and Community Leaders Consulate Generals from different Muslims countries and based in Hong Kong.
