Mass Conversion Ceremony

We welcome the 35 converts – 2 males and 33 females - came from 3 different countries with 6 from China, 1 from Indonesia and 28 from the Philippines to join Islam.
Organised by the Da’wah Committee of the Islamic Union of Hong Kong (the Union) in conjunction with Helpers of Islam Group and Halaqoh, the ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Bro. Abdul Muhaemin bin Karim, the Union’s Da’wah worker. This was followed with a short talk on the religion by Bro. Mahmoud Ismail. After declaring their Faith, souvenirs were presented to the converts by His Excellency Khalid B. Al Mutairi, Consul General in Hong Kong of the State of Kuwait.
